Burc Akyol
Burc Akyol learned to see clothing as craft first. The son of a tailor, the French-Turkish couturier trained at L'Institut Français de la Mode before cutting his teeth at Dior under Galliano and Balenciaga under Ghesquière. His label holds a studied tension: sensuality and austerity in the same breath. Sharp shoulders meet fluid drape, held together by exacting construction.
