Burc Akyol

Burc Akyol learned to see clothing as craft first. The son of a tailor, the French-Turkish couturier trained at L'Institut Français de la Mode before cutting his teeth at Dior under Galliano and Balenciaga under Ghesquière. His label is built on a studied tension — sexuality and austerity in the same breath — and on exception in fabric, in construction, in occasion.
